Feliz Ano Nuevo!
Wishing you all Health and Happiness for 2013. I wonder what you'll all being doing this New Year's Eve. We are planning to have a quiet night here, just the three of us. The centre of the Queretaro will be packed - impossible to find a parking space - so we are going to have a nice dinner, watch a movie and, at midnight, go up on the roof to look out over the city and see the fireworks.
It has been a very lazy few days since my last post. Translation work hasn't started to come in again since the holidays so D and B are taking it easy. I walk every morning first thing for nearly an hour, throw ball outside for the dogs when I come back for a while, do maybe half an hour's yoga and then check my emails. It's a hard life :)

Oh, while I remember - there's an app at the top of the Blog if you want to be automatically notified of new posts by email
We had two visitors from Mexico City on Saturday, spent the afternoon on the roof having a few beers and chatting (good for my spanish). They decided to stay the night so we headed into town to Hanks Louisiana Oyster Bar, right beside Gran Hotel on one of the lovely Plazas, for Happy Hour. Two drinks for the price of one from 5 to 8 pm sitting outside under the portales watching the world go by.
The five of us stayed until maybe 10.30, had some food, maybe three rounds of drinks and it came to about £10 a head. So cheap here and Hanks would be one of the more expensive ones. Has one of the best food menus I've seen since the Oyster (from the Spanish Bar in Grand Central Station. Great music too - a jazz band had just started as we were leaving.
That's all for now - will have more to talk about later in the week. D and I are going to Guadalajara for a few days and then I'm travelling on by myself to Puerto Vallarta on the Pacific for a week. Itchy feet :))
